Plastic Encased Lead Packaging
Medi-RayTM can provide exterior plastic encasements customized to the customer’s exact dimensions and colors. These containers have interlocking plastic lids and bases, with corporate logos and product identification symbols as part of the plastic encasement.
Coated Lead Packaging
The coated lead containers utilized for radiopharmaceuticals normally have interlocking lid/base designs and can come equipped with bottle sponges and desiccant liners. Interlocking lead bricks provide the highest level of radiation protection. They are used for building lead walls, and for fitting corners of lead walls and built using standard rectangular lead bricks.
Dura Block lead bricks are one of the types of interlocking lead bricks manufactured by Medi-RayTM. This brick can create a wall but cannot fit corners.
Lead barrier walls and caves

Lead shielding refers to the use of lead to shield or protect people or objects from radiation. Because of its high density and high atomic number, lead can effectively fade certain kinds of radiation. Lead containers are designed for the storage and shipment of radioactive materials.
